Our Vision

At Little Chicks Day Nursery, we are a growing nursery family that proudly opened our doors on 30th September 2024. Our vision is to create a safe, nurturing space where children, families, and staff feel truly at home—a home away from home. Everything we do is guided by our five core values: Communication, Unity, Nurture, Equality, and Growth. With a specialist focus on communication and language, we are committed to unlocking every child's ability to express themselves, whether through spoken language, sign language, or alternative communication methods such as communication boards or high-tech AAC.

We are passionate about continuous professional development, ensuring our team is equipped with the knowledge and skills to support every child in reaching their full potential. Our dedication extends beyond learning—emotional security is at the heart of our approach. We build strong, trusting relationships with each child, supporting them through moments of dysregulation to help them flourish and reach their optimal learning zone.

As a management team, we believe in empowering our staff with the theory behind our practice, ensuring they understand the purpose and impact of the strategies we implement.
